Chapter 7

Holden went into zack let's room and woke hkm up. He wanted to stay in his room but he decided not to. He left and started walking around the corridor when he figured it out. He was gonna stay in a hotel till Wednesday so he will go home rested and fresh. 

Chapter 6

Stradlater gets back from his date with Jane and Holden notices he is a little late. Holden keeps asking him about jane and if he mentioned Holden or not. Stradlater made Holden mad and thy started fighting. Holden kept calling Stradlater a moron which pissed him off even more.

Chapter 5

Holden went to get food and see a movie with Mal Brossard because the food wasn't that great. Holden invited Ackley to tag along with. It took Ackley 5 hours to get ready to go with them. Holden wrote Stradlaters composition assignment and he didn't know what to write about so oh wrote about his brothers baseball glove. His name was Allie and he was left handed. He wrote all kinds of poems on his glove to read between hitters. Allie past away when Holden was 13 and Holden went crazy an broke all the windows in his house.

Chapter 4

Holden talks to Stradlater while he gets ready for his date. Holden finds out that Stradlaters date is his old friend, Jane. Holden is really nervous and excited about it yet he won't even say hi to her. Holden goes back into the dorm and talks with Ackley for a little after that. He couldn't get Jane of his mind te entire time after he heard her name. Also,  Stradlater happens to be a secret messy person unlike Ackley who is all around messy.

Chapter 3

Holden went back to his dorm room and started reading a book. Does what he likes to read say something about him? His neighbor "Ackley" used the shower and bugged Holden while he was reading . He had to stop reading because he couldn't consentrate. Stradlater, Holden's roommate, came in later on and asked to borrow his jacket. Then stradlater left the room for his date.

All that David Copperfield crap

He got kicked out of his school, Pencey High. He was failing four out of five of his classes and he wanted to say a goodbye to the school at the football game. It made him feel like it was real that he was leaving. Nothing left unsaid, I guess. He went to his history teachers house, Mr. Spencer. He talked to his student about trying his best and to do better for his future. He left Mr. Spencer's house while his teacher yelled to him, "Good-luck!" 

Next Steps Questions

Psychology -  is an academic and applied discipline that involves the scientific study of mental functions and behaviors.

•  I want to learn more about how people think and I also want to help people figure things out and how to make their lives better. I want to know the psychology of: emotions, consciousness, and attraction.
•  I really Like to help people and make them feel better about themselves and about their lives. I love to see people smiling and content or even better about their decisions. I have always loved to make people happy and make them feel better. I always want to see smiles.
•  This subject will help me in my life to know how people think so I can know how to react to certain things. Also, I will understand my own life and understand my thoughts a little better, maybe. Others can get a better understanding also to the way we think and feel .
•  I would have to have an understanding of human emotions, behavior, and personality.
• I don't really know exactly, I guess by reading some books for starters. Get some knowledge on it and go on from there.
•  I would need books and an open mind. I don't know who I would want to meet maybe someone who is in this field.
•  I feel that Tumblr would probably be a good site for this subject to describe and help people to understand it.  I can use pictures as well as text. Maybe it will help people, at least I hope that it will.

catcher in the rye

It seems like a pretty good book to me. It seems like it could be semi realistic and relate able. The character/narrator seems like a cool person. I kind of am looking forward to reading this book.

Music as literature

Can we consider music to be literature? 

Music is definitely literature They both have meaning. Literature is spoken or sung texts or written text.

What is the difference between a novel, a poem, a rap, a song, an opera, and a symphony?

Novels and poems are written work and the others have melodies and sound. A song is also written but has a melody and a symphony has many people and instruments.

Career topic

Honestly, I have given this a lot of thought and I have researched this. In class I said that I wanted to know more about art and drawing; well I don't. Art/drawing is just a hobby that I do, rarely in that case. I want to have a career that I enjoy doing and I actually want to do it. I have went back and forth on certain careers and I'm still lost. I have no idea what I want to do for a career because nothing sounds fun or  intriguing to me...yet.
